Together with the sharp-tongued runaway Tira Ash, the disillusioned soldier Corren Vale and the secretive senior candle keeper Maevra Lyr, Elion’s road leads through whispering forests, ember-scarred mountains and the old wounds left by a fallen Star Serpent. The further they walk from the Candle’s glow, the harder it becomes to believe the stories he grew up with.
