Shards of the Shatterlands, Book II of the Aureth Saga, is now available. Where The Last Candle of Lysora stayed close to the tower and its failing flame, the second book walks out across the plains of humming black glass where the Star Serpent first struck.

The story picks up after the events of Book I and follows Elion, Tira and Corren as glass storms begin to echo the Serpent’s heartbeat beneath the earth. Caravan clans on the crater’s rim feel old oaths stir in their blood, and the Candle’s newly woven light no longer belongs only to Lysora.

In the Shatterlands, the question is no longer just what has the Candle been holding back? but who has been paying for it? The answers live in shard-lit camps, singing lanterns and the stories of people who never stood under the dome.
